My story
I began my career as a school counselor. Children and adolescents often sought me out—sometimes with big feelings they didn't know how to name, other times with quieter struggles around learning, focus, or friendships. What drew me in was watching what happens when someone finally feels safe enough to share their inner world: they begin to shift, slowly but steadily, toward healing and growth.
Over time, I realized I wanted to walk alongside people of all ages as they navigated hardship, processed painful experiences, and created lasting change in their lives. That calling led me into clinical counseling.
My approach in the therapy room
I believe everyone deserves a "life worth living" and a sense of contentment within themselves. In our work together, I might:
🌸 Offer a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can say the "unsayable" and be fully heard
🌸 Help you connect the dots between past experiences and present struggles
🌸 Support you in building practical skills for emotion regulation, communication, and boundaries
🌸 Hold your hand as you process trauma, grief, or loss at a pace that feels safe
My style is warm, accepting, honest, and optimistic. I genuinely believe in your capacity to heal and move forward, and I will hold that belief even on days when it feels hard for you to see.
